Albino Red Empress
Protomelas taeniolatus
Albino Red Empress is a line-bred albino form of the Red Empress group selected for pale albino contrast and eventual red display in mature dominant males. Young males may not show full intensity right away, but they can become impressive centerpiece haps with age.

Native Region: Aquarium line-bred strain from Lake Malawi Red Empress stock.

Natural Habitat: Sediment-free rocky habitat in the wild form; aquariums should provide open water with rock structure.
