Fireline Msisi Mloto

Copadichromis sp. "Mloto Msisi"

Fireline Msisi Mloto is a Lake Malawi hap with attractive male display color and a more open-water swimming style than many rock-bound species. It is a good fit for larger peacock and hap aquariums where males have room to show color without constant crowding.

Origin and Habitat

  • Native Region: Undu Reef, Tanzania, Lake Malawi.
  • Natural Habitat: Intermediate habitat.

Behavior and Temperament

  • Temperament: Mildly aggressive.
  • Social Behavior: Works well with similar-sized Malawi haps and peacocks in a properly stocked, spacious setup.

Aquarium Care

  • Tank Size: A 75 gallon aquarium or larger is recommended.
