What You’ll Receive

• Selection Style: Species are chosen at random from current inventory.
• Species Type: These packs are African cichlids; no hybrids are included.
• Availability Note: Species availability is limited.
• Best Use: A strong option for keepers building or adding to an African cichlid aquarium and who are flexible on the exact species mix.

Best Aquarium Fit

• Recommended Setup: Lake Malawi-style aquariums with sand, rock cover, open swimming space, and strong filtration.
• Tank Planning: Match the final stocking plan to the adult size and temperament of the fish included.
• Compatibility: Best with appropriately sized African cichlids and tanks designed for hard, alkaline water.
• Avoid: Soft-water community setups, tiny fish, and mixing fish with very different aggression levels in cramped tanks.

Care Overview

• Water Parameters: 74-84°F, pH 7.4-8.4, hard water.
• Tank Size: Plan around the largest and most assertive fish in the pack; many African cichlid communities do best in 55-75 gallons or larger.
