Xystichromis nuchisquamulatus is a rare Lake Victoria-region haplochromine cichlid with strong conservation value and active nearshore behavior. It is best kept in a carefully managed African cichlid aquarium with stable hard water and compatible, similarly sized tank mates.

Origin and Habitat

Physical Characteristics
