Taeniolethrinops Furcicauda Nkekete
Taeniolethrinops furcicauda
Taeniolethrinops Furcicauda Nkekete is a rare sand-dwelling Lake Malawi hap that rewards patience. Males take time to mature, but once they reach size they can develop impressive fins and color in a large, lower-stress hap aquarium.

-
Natural Habitat: Sandy habitat and intermediate areas where fish forage and hunt near the bottom.

-
Temperament: More passive when young, becoming mildly aggressive as mature males establish dominance.
-
Social Behavior: Best with similar-size or smaller-but-robust Malawi haps that will not bully late-blooming males.
